Help us to make Christmas 2022 magical for every child

Each year, with the help of wonderful people like yourself, we aim to make Christmas as magical as possible for the children and their siblings that we support.

One of the festive highlights is our families’ Christmas party where we arrange for Santa to pay a visit.  Alexander’s Care Team has been secretly making a list of what gifts the children and their siblings would like most for Christmas and, with your support, we can make sure that every child receives a gift from Santa at the party!

Purchasing gifts

If you would love to purchase a gift(s) for the children and their siblings this Christmas, then it is really easy to do. We have compiled a list on Amazon and to view the list simply follow the link below.

For some of the older children and young people that we support, vouchers are a popular gift as it means they can treat themselves, for example trips to the cinema with friends or shopping. Vouchers should be purchased for individual young people to spend and could be for trips to the:

If you are buying an e-voucher, please forward them to

We have also included a few items on the list for the children to use at the hospice, if you wish to purchase any of these items we have highlighted these in the ‘comments’ section when you click on the item.

Our Amazon gift list

Please do share these gifts ideas with friends or colleagues if they would also like to support our Christmas giving tree this year.

Sending or dropping off gifts

You can arrange for the gifts to be sent directly to our children’s hospice. To do this, simply pop our address details into the delivery options when you checkout on Amazon. Please also remember to add a note on the order with your name and company name so that we know who has purchased the gift and we can thank you.

Please send gifts to:

Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service

Snowball Hill

Woodlands Park Avenue

Alternatively, if a few of your colleagues are purchasing gifts, you may want to arrange to have them delivered to your home or office and hand deliver them to our hospice all together.

If you have purchased a voucher, simply print a copy and place in a sealed envelope to deliver with your other gifts and for e-vouchers, please forward them to

Deadline for gifts

To ensure our team of merry elves have time to wrap all the presents in time to give to the children at the party, please may we ask that you arrange for the gifts to be delivered to the hospice no later than Friday 18th November – thank you!

Need our help?

The word hospice should not seem scary and getting support from us doesn’t have to mean a child’s death is imminent. Helping to enrich the lives of the children and their families is at the heart of our service, our end of life and bereavement support is just a part of what we do.

Our children’s hospice service covers the whole of Berkshire and into surrounding counties. If you think your child may be eligible for our services, please do get in touch.

We’re delighted to have received a grant from Marks and Spencer as part of their Gifts that Give campaign this Christmas. This wonderful donation will help fund lots of festive fun and activities for children and their siblings we support.

The grant was all thanks to M&S teaming up with Neighbourly Foundation to give donations to 1,000 small charities and community groups in the UK and Ireland.

Spread some Christmas kindness ⭐️

We were privileged to provide end of life care for beautiful baby Joshua and his family at our children’s hospice.

Joshua was just 7 weeks old when he sadly died.

For our Christmas appeal this year his parents, Emma and Peter Lowe, bravely share his story. They hope in doing so that they can “spread kindness to other families who will face tragedy like us. We want to make sure these families are not alone and will have the invaluable support given to us by Alexander Devine.”

Your kindness this Christmas can help us be there for more precious children like Joshua:
