Date: Sunday 1st September
Location: Dorney Lake

Take on a Super Sprint Sprint or Standard triathlon around Dorney Lake and have the opportunity to race around this unique and inspiring Olympic venue!

The purpose built lake is perfect for the swim and the flat grounds lend themselves to a totally flat bike and run course, the ideal venue for a chip timed personal best. Each discipline will be accurately marked out with distance flags and we will have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and to encourage you all the way to the finish.

For those who don’t want to take part in the run, there is also an Aquabike (swim-bike) option, and for those who would like to compete as a team, there is a relay option, which allows 2 or 3 individuals to share the disciplines between them.

Windsor Half

Date: Sunday 29th September
Location: Windsor Great Park

The race starts and finishes in the shadow of Windsor Castle within Windsor Great Park, the only Royal Park managed by The Crown Estate. The Great Park was once part of a vast Norman hunting forest which was enclosed in the late thirteenth century. The antiquity of the landscape is enhanced by the scattering of great ancient oaks for which the Great Park and its forest are renowned.

A truly inspiring venue for a very popular and long-standing event!

Date: Sunday 6th October
Location: Maidenhead

Maidenhead Boundary Walk is based on an ancient custom called Beating the bounds. Its roots go back to mediaeval times when parishes reaffirmed their boundaries by processing round them at Rogationtide, stopping to beat each boundary mark with wands and to pray for protection and blessings for the land.

The route follows the old boundaries of Maidenhead town and is approximately 13 miles in distance, starting and finishing at Boulters Lock car park. But don’t worry if you don’t/can’t walk the full 13 miles then shorter routes are also available.

Need our help?

The word hospice should not seem scary and getting support from us doesn’t have to mean a child’s death is imminent. Helping to enrich the lives of the children and their families is at the heart of our service, our end of life and bereavement support is just a part of what we do.

Our children’s hospice service covers the whole of Berkshire and into surrounding counties. If you think your child may be eligible for our services, please do get in touch.
