Christmas Treecycling, 5th to 7th January 2024
Take the hassle out of disposing of your used Christmas tree this year and let Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service collect and recycle it for you.
If you live in SL6, SL7 or SL8 postal areas, our amazing volunteers will collect your real tree from your home in return for a donation to our children’s hospice service.
Your tree will then be taken to the Berkshire College of Agriculture where it will be chipped. The chippings will then be distributed across the college grounds and used by the animals at the BCA Zoo.
Your donations will help Alexander Devine continue to provide specialist care and vital support to local children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, throughout the festive period.
Collection Area: SL6, SL7 and SL8
Collection Dates: Friday 5th, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th January 2024

The word hospice should not seem scary and getting support from us doesn’t have to mean a child’s death is imminent. Helping to enrich the lives of the children and their families is at the heart of our service, our end of life and bereavement support is just a part of what we do.
