Christmas Pop-Up Shop to Support Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service Returns on 7th November!  

We are thrilled to announce the return of Alexander Devine’s Christmas Pop-Up Shop in the heart of Maidenhead’s Nicholsons Centre! From Thursday, 7th November, until Saturday, 14th December. 

You will be able to find us every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in a convenient spot right opposite One Below – perfect for a little browsing while you’re in town. With an incredible range of gifts and special finds, the Pop-Up Shop promises to be a wonderful way to get in the holiday spirit while supporting local babies, children, young people and families within our care. 

Our pop-up shop has only been made possible by our amazing Maidenhead Fundraising Group, led by Helen and Richard Johnson. Their vision and tireless commitment have been the backbone of bringing this shop to life, and we couldn’t be prouder to have their support.  

But it’s not only Helen and Richard making this happen; we owe a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team of volunteers who are giving up their time to make sure the shop runs smoothly each week. Every item that makes it onto our shelves to be sold, every display that is set up and every smile shared with a customer is a testament to the generosity and community spirit of our volunteers. Without them, the Pop-Up Shop simply wouldn’t be possible. 

We are incredibly fortunate to have volunteers who not only work behind the scenes but also greet each customer with warmth and kindness. Their dedication and energy reflect the true spirit of Alexander Devine, ensuring that the funds raised will directly benefit the children and families we support. The commitment from our volunteer team is a shining example of the caring heart of our community. 

As you stroll through Maidenhead, we invite you to stop by and explore the lovely range of items we have available. From pre-loved toys, puzzles, gifts and games to bikes, scooters and everything in between, every purchase helps raise vital funds that enable us to provide care and respite for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.  

If you want to pick up a Christmas present for your friends and family, and help raise funds for a great cause, every pound you spend at our pop-up shop will go towards making a real difference. 

The shop will be open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm each Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and we’ll have new stock regularly, so there’s always something new to discover. Spread the word, bring a friend, and don’t forget to tell your family – the Alexander Devine Christmas Pop-Up Shop is only here for six weeks, and we’d love to see as many of you as possible!

Our mission is to ensure that every baby, child and young person with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition can access the care they need, surrounded by love and support.
