Christmas Treecycling, January 2026
Make saying goodbye to your Christmas tree easy, and do something wonderful for local children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families.
This year, skip the hassle of disposing of your real Christmas tree and let Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service collect it and recycle it for you!
If you live in SL4, SL6, SL7, SL8 or RG10 postal areas, our amazing volunteers will collect your real tree straight from your doorstep in return for a donation to our local children’s hospice service.
Your tree will then be taken to the Berkshire College of Agriculture, where it will be chipped and recycled. The chippings are used across the college grounds and even help care for the animals at the BCA Zoo, giving your tree a whole new life!
Your donations will help Alexander Devine continue to provide specialist care and vital support to local children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families.

Our 2026 Treecycling is kindly sponsored by VitrX.

Need our help?
The word hospice should not seem scary and getting support from us doesn’t have to mean a child’s death is imminent. Helping to enrich the lives of the children and their families is at the heart of our service, our end of life and bereavement support is just a part of what we do.
Our children’s hospice service covers the whole of Berkshire, South Bucks and into surrounding counties. If you think your child may be eligible for our services, please do get in touch.
