Congratulations to Sarah Wallace, on Completing the Maidenhead Boundary Walk!
We are delighted to extend our congratulations and thanks to Sarah Wallace, the headmistress of Highfield School for Girls, on completing the challenging Maidenhead Boundary Walk!
Braving the full 13-mile route, Sarah dedicated her walk to raising vital funds for Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service, ultimately raising an incredible £405.
This long-standing event, organised by the Maidenhead Bridge Rotary Club, winds through scenic areas of Maidenhead and is known for bringing together the local community in support of meaningful causes.
Sarah’s commitment and resilience have not only made a tremendous difference but also set a wonderful example for her students, staff, and the local community.
Thank you, Sarah, and to everyone who sponsored her on the walk.
Every pound raised will go directly towards helping us provide specialist care and support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire.
Your support, Sarah, truly means the world to us! Thank you for taking on the challenge, and congratulations on completing it! We hope you’ve been able to put your feet up and rest!
Need our help?
The word hospice should not seem scary and getting support from us doesn’t have to mean a child’s death is imminent. Helping to enrich the lives of the children and their families is at the heart of our service, our end of life and bereavement support is just a part of what we do.
Our children’s hospice service covers the whole of Berkshire and into surrounding counties. If you think your child may be eligible for our services, please do get in touch.
