Thank You for Making Write Your Will Week a Success for Alexander Devine
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in our recent Write Your Will Week, held in collaboration with NE Family Law.
Your support and involvement have been truly inspiring and have helped raise vital funds that will directly support children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions.
The event ran from Monday 14th to Friday 18th October 2024, offering people in our community the chance to draft, amend or update their Wills with the guidance of dedicated experts at NE Family Law, based in Windsor.
In return for this free service, participants were invited to make a donation to Alexander Devine, and the response has been remarkable. These generous contributions will help us continue delivering essential services to babies, children, young people, and their families, who need us most.
“We were thrilled to see so many families join in, taking a crucial step in planning for the future while also making a positive impact. Writing a Will can be a meaningful way to support a cause close to your heart, and we are immensely grateful to those who chose to include Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service in their future plans.”, said Jenni Green, Lead for Trusts and Supporter Engagement at Alexander Devine.
The Service’s success would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of NE Family Law’s team, especially Madeline Harris, whose expertise helped guide families and individuals through the process.
Madeline emphasised that having a Will can be a simple yet powerful way to protect loved ones while also supporting charities. We are so grateful to her and the team for their commitment to our cause, and for making this week a smooth, empowering experience for participants.
“Thank you once again to everyone who took part in Write Your Will Week. Your support enables us to continue offering vital care and support to children and families across Berkshire. If you would like to learn more about how you can contribute or participate in future events, please visit our website or contact us directly. Together, we can ensure every child and family receives the support they need through the most challenging times.”
Need our help?
The word hospice should not seem scary and getting support from us doesn’t have to mean a child’s death is imminent. Helping to enrich the lives of the children and their families is at the heart of our service, our end of life and bereavement support is just a part of what we do.
Our children’s hospice service covers the whole of Berkshire and into surrounding counties. If you think your child may be eligible for our services, please do get in touch.
