Fearless Fiona set to hotfoot it for our hospice!

On Saturday 9th October, we are holding our very first firewalk at our hospice in Maidenhead.

One of the first to walk on the scorching hot embers is CEO and Co-Founder, Fiona Devine. Showing herself to be quite the Devine Daredevil, she said:

“I have done all sorts of challenges over the years to help raise the vital funds our charity needs but have never walked on fire! It will certainly be my hottest and shortest sponsored walk ever and I can’t wait to join the other brave ‘soles’ who will be taking on this challenge with me.”

We are looking for 49 other brave SOLES to take on the heat with Fiona and help us reach our fundraising target of £10,500, which could fund just over eight overnight stays at our hospice for a child with complex healthcare needs, giving parents a much-needed break.

All participants will receive full training to learn the secret of walking on fire by twice Guinness World Record holder for the greatest distance walked on fire, Scott Bell from UK Firewalk. Scott will teach them how to keep their cool when facing their fears and walk across the hot embers with a temperature over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit!

Registration is £25 per person and includes:

• Fire Walk training seminar with World Record holder Scott Bell
• Alexander Devine T-Shirt
• UK Firewalk certificate of completion
• Bespoke medal upon completion

The Firewalk challenge is strictly for supporters 18 years old and older. Registration closes on Thursday 7th October at 5pm.
