Alexander Devine Announces Final Week for Christmas Pop-Up Shop
Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service is thrilled to announce the return of its much-loved Christmas Pop-Up Toy Shop for one final week this January. This festive initiative, which brought joy to the community and raised over £21,000 in six weeks during the Christmas period, will re-open its doors to offer incredible bargains and continue supporting the vital work of Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service. All items are now HALF PRICE, with a 50% discount applied to absolutely every item at the till!
The Pop-Up Toy Shop, a beloved addition to the local community’s festive celebrations, will be open from 9:30am to 4:30pm on Thursday 30th January, Friday 31st January, and Saturday 1st February 2025. Located opposite One Below and next to Cafe Nero in the Nicholsons Shopping Centre, Maidenhead, the store will feature a wide range of toys, games, books, puzzles, action figures, kids’ toys, board games and other items, all available at an exclusive 50% discount.
“We were absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible support our Pop-Up Toy Shop received last year,” said Fiona Devine MBE, Alexander Devine CEO and Founder. “It was heart-warming to see the community come together to find the perfect Christmas gifts while making a real difference for the babies, children and families we support. The demand for its return has been wonderful, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone back for this special extra week.”
The funds raised by the Pop-Up Toy Shop last year directly supported the children’s hospice’s vital work, providing respite care, family support, creative therapies and transition work for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. This final opening offers another opportunity for supporters to contribute to the hospice’s mission while picking up fantastic deals.
Visitors can expect an incredible selection of high-quality and quality-assured pre-loved toys and games at unbeatable prices, making it an ideal opportunity to stock up on birthday gifts or even to get ahead for next Christmas?
The return of the Pop-Up Toy Shop also reflects the community’s strong connection to Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service. “The Pop-Up Shop is more than just a retail space; it is a symbol of hope and togetherness”, Fiona continues.
“We are so grateful to everyone who has supported this initiative, from everyone who has donated anything over the year to our fabulous team of volunteers in the Maidenhead Fundraising Group, led by Helen and Richard Johnson. It’s been amazing to see so many people come together for a good cause. Together, we have created something truly special.”
Alexander Devine invites everyone in the community to visit the Pop-Up Toy Shop during its final week and help make a lasting impact on the lives of the children and families it serves. By purchasing items from the shop, supporters will not only enjoy fantastic discounts on great items but also contribute to a cause that makes a real difference.
