Deputy Mayor presents staff with Long Service Awards
On Thursday 7th November, the Deputy Mayor Cllr Gary Muir from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead presented four team members at Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service (along with Libby the dog!), with their Long Term Service Award in recognition of their time and commitment to the charity.
Receiving the awards from the Alexander Care Team were Dr Abigail Macleod, Alexander’s Nurse Sam McKinnon, and Lead for Quality and Governance Julie Hughes. Also receiving his award was Director of Finance, Andrew Rice.
Commenting on the presentation, CEO Fiona Devine said:
“Thank you so much to the Deputy Mayor for joining our team celebration. I am so grateful for the huge contributions made by these four individuals over the last five years and more. Their commitment, hardwork and support has made such a difference to our charity’s journey so far. They should all be so proud of what they have achieved”
Need our help?
The word hospice should not seem scary and getting support from us doesn’t have to mean a child’s death is imminent. Helping to enrich the lives of the children and their families is at the heart of our service, our end of life and bereavement support is just a part of what we do.
Our children’s hospice service covers the whole of Berkshire and into surrounding counties. If you think your child may be eligible for our services, please do get in touch.
