Our Patron, John Barley BEM opens hydrotherapy pool
On 31st July we marked another important milestone when we asked our Patron, Mr John Barley BEM, to officially open our hydrotherapy pool.
John, Chairman of Nirvana Spa, along with his family have played a pivotal role in sponsoring and maintaining our amazing pool. It makes a world of difference for our children that we can offer them the opportunity to make wonderful memories with their family, enjoying a pool session in a specially designed space.
For a child confined to a wheelchair, the freedom of movement in water is a priceless gift. We cannot thank John and Nirvana Spa enough for all their splashtastic support!

The word hospice should not seem scary and getting support from us doesn’t have to mean a child’s death is imminent. Helping to enrich the lives of the children and their families is at the heart of our service, our end of life and bereavement support is just a part of what we do.
