Work For Good

Did you know your business can have a powerful and positive impact, whatever its size, through sales fundraising?

Via our partnership with Work for Good, you can support Alexander Devine through your sales in a simple, sustainable and legal way, whilst also creating a proven positive impact for your business too!

What is sales fundraising?

Sales fundraising is donating a portion of your business sales from products or services to your chosen charity. It is an easy way to use the work you already do, for good!

For example, you could choose a single product, or all your services and donate 5% of sales to our charity for the year. Or you could pick a meaningful time period, like Christmas or Children’s Hospice Week, to donate a percentage of your profits to our charity.

It is flexible and open to any registered company, no matter your size and you can read about the fantastic benefits for your business in our Work For Good guide here.

The AD team are like a family, which makes organising fundraisers and events so much easier and enjoyable. A lot of corporate partnerships can fall into the trap of simply writing a cheque, but working with the fundraising team allowed us to brainstorm and come up with greater ideas and opportunities. Our organisation has gained so much through working with AD. We have focused many of our fundraisers around team building activities, which means that as well as giving back, we get to grow as a team and work together outside of an office environment. We look forward to continuing our collaboration supporting this fantastic cause and all the work they do” – Aoife Healy, Customer and Community Liason, JJ Rhatigan

“We are delighted to support Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice. Working in a local business and being a local resident, I have seen and heard first-hand about the vital work the hospice does for children and their families. The support they provide is a lifeline for so many families with children who have life limiting or life threatening conditions, that service not only deals with clinical care but also giving children and families the opportunity to have fun and make memories during heart breaking times. The work they do and the service they provide is critical to the local community”. – Amanda Phillips-Wylds, Managing Partner, Stowe Family Law LLP

“Thank you so much for inviting me to your wonderful Alexander Devine Hospice, and for taking the time to show me around and explain everything with such detail and passion.
I was truly blown away with the hospice and the thoughtfulness of the building and rooms, as it was very much evident that every aspect of a child and parent’s visit/stay has been thoroughly thought through with such love and attention.” – Helen Saunders, Partner & Community Liaison Coordinator, John Lewis Reading

“It was great to have Alexander Devine Hospice as our Charity of the year- it is important to support local charities such as Alexander Devine Hospice as they provide such important care to children and families that need it most. At Mattel we love to dress up so it was great to have support national hospice week with #rocktheblue, we also love cakes 😊 so the Christmas Bake off is always a great fundraising activity for the bakers and the employees who get to eat the cake.” – Keisha John, Customer Services Representative, Mattel
